When emailing, it helps to include your device model and iOS version, plus a screenshot if something looks wrong.
Create a deck — Tap + New on the Home screen, give it a name, pick an emoji and color, then add cards (a front and a back, plus an optional example sentence).
Study — Tap Study now (or open a deck and tap Study). Tap a card to flip it in 3D, then swipe or tap to rate how well you knew it:
That's the whole loop. Memo's spaced-repetition engine quietly resurfaces each card right before you'd forget it, so you review the right cards at the right time instead of everything at once.
How does spaced repetition work? Each time you rate a card, Memo updates when you'll see it next. Cards you find easy come back less often; cards you miss come back sooner. Over time you spend your effort only where it's needed.
Is Memo a subscription? No. Memo Pro is a single one-time purchase — no subscriptions, ever. The free version includes one deck; Pro unlocks unlimited decks, audio pronunciation, reverse mode, custom daily pace, and every future Pro feature.
How do I restore my purchase? Go to Settings → Restore purchase (or tap Restore on the Pro screen). Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Pro.
How do I add the home-screen widget? Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen → tap the + in the top corner → search "Memo" → choose a size → Add Widget. Memo cheers when you've studied and gets a little sad when you haven't — a gentle nudge to keep your streak.
The widget isn't updating. Open Memo once so it can refresh, then give iOS a minute. Widgets update on the system's schedule, so changes (like your due count or streak) may take a little time to appear.
How do I hear pronunciation (audio)? Set a deck's Audio language when creating or editing it, then tap the speaker on a card during study. Audio is a Memo Pro feature.
How do I turn on daily reminders?Settings → Daily reminder, then pick a time. If reminders don't arrive, make sure notifications are enabled for Memo in the iOS Settings app → Notifications → Memo.
