Thank you for using Memo: Smart Flashcards ("Memo," "the app," "we," "us"). Your privacy matters to us, and this policy explains — in plain language — how Memo handles your information.
The short version: Memo does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no tracking.
We collect nothing. Memo has no user accounts, no login, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, identifiers, or usage data.
The decks, flashcards, study history, streaks, and settings you create are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This information never leaves your device, is never transmitted to us or any third party, and is not accessible to us.
If you delete the app, this local data is removed with it. Because your data is stored only on your device and is not backed up to an account, we recommend keeping your own copy of anything important before uninstalling.
If you enable daily study reminders, these notifications are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. We do not operate any server and do not send push notifications. You can turn reminders off at any time in the app's Settings or in the iOS Settings app.
The optional pronunciation feature uses Apple's built-in, on-device speech synthesis to read your cards aloud. No audio or card text is sent to us.
Memo offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Memo Pro"). All purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Memo is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Memo does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third party involved is Apple, solely to process optional in-app purchases through the App Store.
